Google Workspace / G Suite

Perch integrates with G Suite to ingest logs for all your services. To enable full functionality, install the Perch Security G Suite Marketplace App as an admin. You can then enable and configure the G Suite integration within Perch.

Getting started

  1. Download and install the Perch Security G Suite Marketplace App
  2. Configure the G Suite Integration from the Perch settings page
  3. Test that Perch can ingest logs from G Suite
  4. Enable log ingestion

Install the Perch Security G Suite Marketplace App

In order for Perch to access your G Suite logs, you must first download the Perch Security G Suite Marketplace App.

  1. Click here to download and install the Perch Security G Suite Marketplace App
  2. A new window will open with a prompt to log in to Google. Fill in your credentials and click login.
  3. Click Install for domain.

Authorize Perch

You must explicitly grant access so that Perch can access your G Suite logs.

  1. Click the Authorize button from the G Suite settings panel. This must be clicked by a G Suite Admin
  2. A new window will open with a Google prompt to allow access – click Accept
  3. You will be redirected to Perch – close the window

Test ingestion

Click the Test button to verify that everything is functioning as it should. You can use this button any time after setup to verify that your G Suite integration is still working as expected.

Enable log ingestion

Like all Perch integrations, you can enable or disable log ingestion at any time by toggling the switch from OFF ( gray ) to ON ( purple ), or the other way around.

Enable Office 365

When disabling G Suite log ingestion, your configuration is preserved so you will not have to reauthorize Perch when you would like to re-enable it.
