MSPs using both ServiceNow and Perch can create ServiceNow tickets from within Perch’s web application, allowing them to manage threat activity for all their clients in a single-pane view.

Perch’s Security Operations Center (SOC) monitors the environment for threat activity and escalates it to the MSP for action.

Prerequisites:

  • The ability to create an API credentials in ServiceNow

Create ServiceNow Credentials

  1. Follow this ServiceNow guide to generate a new set of Basic Auth Credentials.
  2. Make note of the Username and Password for use in Perch.

Configure Perch app integration

  1. Click here to go to ServiceNow integration settings in the Perch app
  2. Authenticate with the Username and Password credentials from step 2 of the previous section, Base URL should be the root of the URL in the top bar of your browser.
  3. Configure ticketing with your desired options.
  4. Click on save to save your settings.

NOTE: Caller, Assignment Group, Category, and Subcategory are GLOBAL options that will apply to all tickets Perch creates. Urgency is configurable on a per-event basis.
