How to monitor network traffic through HP ProCurve switches

Configure HP ProCurve Switch

Open a monitor session on the switch
Enter configure mode configure terminal
Enter the configuration mode for the specified Ethernet interface you want to mirror to mirror-port <port>
Set the interface to monitor int <port range>, monitor

Example:

int 1-4, monitor

Show the monitor configuration show monitor
Exit back to configuration mode exit

Once you have verified that your configuration is correct, make sure to save it.
