How to monitor network traffic through Datto switches

Configure Datto Switch

Open device web session
Click Port Settings
Select Source and Destination ports by clicking the appropriate box in the left most column of the ports
Click Mirror
Select which port you want the traffic to be mirrored by choosing it from the Destination ID drop down. Other ports will automatically become sources.
Select Both as the transmission type

Note:

Default is Rx-Only

Click OK. The mirror status will display in the Mirroring column on the Port Settings

Once you have verified that your configuration is correct, make sure to save it.
